Privacy Policy
Frame Worthy for iPhone and iPad. Last updated October 15, 2026.
Frame Worthy does not collect your data. Your photos are analyzed on your iPhone or iPad, and nothing the app learns about them is sent anywhere. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.
What stays on your device
Frame Worthy looks at your photos on your device and nowhere else. The faces it finds, the problems it spots in them, the people you star, the names you type, and the ratings you give all live in the app's memory while you review a group. They are discarded when you start another group or close the app. They are never saved to storage and never sent anywhere.
The only thing Frame Worthy keeps from one launch to the next is four numbers, shown in About under Your activity: how many groups you have sorted, and how many photos you kept, favorited, and deleted. They stay on your device, and deleting the app deletes them.
Sacrifice Golf, LLC cannot see your photos, your faces, or your numbers, and receives no copy of anything.
Faces
Frame Worthy's job is to find the photo where everyone looks good, so it has to look at faces. It uses Apple's Vision framework, running on your device, to find each face in a group of photos and to judge whether eyes are closed, whether a face is blurry or covered, and whether the person is smiling or looking away. It also compares faces within the group, so it can follow the same person from one photo to the next.
This face data:
- is created on your device, and never leaves it.
- is used for one thing: ranking the photos in the group you are reviewing.
- is not used to find out who anyone is. Frame Worthy knows a name only if you type one, and it does not recognize people from one group to the next.
- is never shared, sold, or used for advertising or marketing.
- is kept in memory only while you review that group, and discarded when you start another group or close the app.
What Frame Worthy asks for, and why
Your photos
Frame Worthy asks for access to your photo library. The permission prompt says: "Frame Worthy compares your group photos on your device to find the frame where everyone looks good. When you confirm, it favorites your keepers, moves the extras to Recently Deleted, and can save a new video. Nothing ever leaves your device."
It reads your photos to find bursts and shots taken seconds apart, and to compare the faces in them. It changes your library only when you confirm, and only in these ways:
- Favorite. Photos you heart are marked as Favorites in Photos.
- Delete. Photos you choose not to keep go to Recently Deleted, after iOS asks you to confirm. You can recover them there for 30 days. Frame Worthy never permanently deletes anything.
- Add. If you save a video stitched from your Live Photos, or a Best Take photo, it is added to your library as a new item. Your originals are not changed. A saved video carries the date and location of the photos it was made from, the same as those photos.
You can share only some of your photos with Frame Worthy, and change that from the app or in Settings at any time.
What leaves your device
Nothing Frame Worthy computes. The app has no server and sends nothing to Sacrifice Golf, LLC or anyone else.
One thing can cross the network on your behalf. If you use iCloud Photos with Optimize Storage turned on, some full-size photos are kept in iCloud instead of on your device. When Frame Worthy needs one, iOS downloads it from your own iCloud Photos library, the same way the Photos app does. That download is between your device and Apple, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
What is never done
- No analytics, no tracking, and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party code of any kind is included in the app.
- Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone.
- No account is created, because there is nothing to sign in to.
- No photo is ever deleted without your say. Every delete is one you confirm, and it goes to Recently Deleted.
Children
Frame Worthy is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age. Photos of children are treated like any other photo: looked at on your device, and never sent anywhere.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a future version of Frame Worthy ever sends anything off your device, it will be described here first.
